In 2010, I moved to Deutsche Welle Radio in the Swahili service as international journalist. While studying for my masters degree in China, I worked at CCTV news which is now known as CGTN where I was based at the headquarters in Beijing, China. In 2013, I rejoined TBC, where I was a business, finance and economist journalist as well as a news anchor for TBC1 (TV). I am now the head TBC in Zanzibar islands (Unguja and Pemba) supervising administration work, editor and everything in the islands. Because Zanzibar is a tourist destination. In august 2017 i started a travel show known as TBCsafari to promote Tanzania and Zanzibar tourism.
