DO YOU QUALIFY FOR AN OPERATOR PASS ?
DATAXIS reserves the right to refuse any applications for an operator pass according to the criteria below.
Operator: A company that provides telecommunications and/or Internet/data and/or pay TV/video services to domestic consumers. This definition extends to fixed-line facilities-based telecoms operators, providers of fixed-line telecoms services, ISPs, VoIP & broadband service providers, cable/DTH/IP TV network operators, mobile operators & MVNOs
To clarify, our definition operator does NOT include:
- companies/subsidiaries/division whose primary purpose is the provision of telecommunications and / or Internet / data services to business / corporate / institutional end users.
- satellite operators or fibre operators.
Broadcaster: A company that provides a collection of TV/radio stations sent over the air to all receivers from the same unified source.
Independent producer: an independent producer has editorial and budgetary control over his/her production. An independent producer is responsible for everything from raising money to hiring actors and overseeing the budget. To clarify, independent producers does NOT include the major film studios, TV Media groups, production/distribution houses including their subsidiaries/divisions.
Software and/or hardware supplier, IT/consulting/integration services vendor to the TV, Telecom, OTT, video, music, entertainment sector the does NOT qualify for this type of pass. Select the general registration pass category.
